UKFABAC / BAPIA x Glow World Competition – Terms & Conditions

 

1. Promoter

This competition is jointly promoted by the UK Face and Body Art Convention (UKFABAC) and Balloon and Party Industry Alliance (BAPIA) ("the Promoters") and the final prize sponsored by Glow World.

 

For any enquiries relating to this competition, please contact the Promoters via the official UKFABAC or BAPIA channels.

 

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years and over.

• Entrants must be legally able to attend UKFABAC and any associated activities.

• Employees, contractors, agents, or immediate family members of the Promoters are excluded from entry.

• By entering, participants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements.

 

3. Competition Period

• The competition opens on 13th July 2026.

• Entries must be received by 11:59 PM (BST) on 14th August 2026.

• Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

 

4. How to Enter

To enter the competition:

• Head to the website link https://www.ukfacepaintingconvention.com/packages and click on the Glow World Gift option.

• Complete the online form with your nomination, reason for suggestion and submit.

• Include the full name and handle if applicable of your nominee and you reason for your nomination.

• Only one entry per person will be considered.

 

5. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or donation is required to enter or win this competition.

 

6. Prize

One winner will receive:

A 2 Day / 1 Night UKFABAC Ticket, consisting of either:

• Beginner Programme: Friday to Saturday attendance; or

• Non-Beginner Programme: Saturday to Sunday attendance.

The exact ticket type awarded will be determined by the Promoters based on eligibility and programme requirements.

The prize:

• Is non-transferable.

• Has no cash alternative.

• Cannot be exchanged for another product, service, or monetary value unless agreed by the Promoters.

Any travel, additional accommodation, meals, personal expenses, or added costs not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.

 

7. Winner Selection

• One winner will be selected by representatives of BAPIA and Glow World.

• The winner will be chosen based on criteria determined by the Promoters.

• The decision of the Promoters is final and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.

 

8. Winner Notification

• The winner will be contacted via the social media platform through which they entered.

• If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

• The Promoters may require proof of identity, age, and eligibility before awarding the prize.

 

9. Publicity

By entering the competition, entrants agree that:

• Their name, social media handle, and/or submitted nomination may be used by the Promoters for the purpose of administering the competition and announcing the winner.

• The winner may be featured on the social media channels, websites, and promotional materials of the Promoters.

If a winner objects to publicity, they should notify the Promoters when contacted; the Promoters will consider such requests where legally permissible.

 

10. Data Protection

• Personal information provided in connection with this competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition and prize fulfilment.

• The Promoters will process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

• Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

• The Promoters accept no responsibility for:

• Lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, or misdirected entries.

• Technical failures affecting entry submission.

• Circumstances beyond their reasonable control that prevent the competition or prize from proceeding as planned.

The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond their control.

 

12. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook/Meta. By entering, participants release Instagram and Facebook from any responsibility relating to the competition.

 

13. General

• The Promoters reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or attempts to manipulate the competition process.

• Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

• The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
